Using Construction Link
What the platform undertakes to do, and — more usefully — what it does not, so nobody relies on something that is not there.
Construction Link principle
Every operational record should show its status, deadline, next action, owner and evidence.
- A venue, not a party to your contract
- Verification is a check, not a guarantee
The basis
What Construction Link is
A venue and a record
The platform connects parties and holds the record of what passed between them. It is not a party to the contract you enter into with the other side.
Verification is a check, not a guarantee
An approved organization has had documents reviewed by a person. That raises confidence; it does not underwrite performance, and due diligence remains yours.
Your payment is yours
Money moves directly between the parties. The platform records it and does not hold, release or guarantee it.
Your content is yours
Documents and records you upload remain yours. They are held so the platform can do what you are using it for.
Conduct
What gets an account suspended
Misrepresenting who you are
False registration details or documents that are not yours.
Interfering with procurement
Attempting to see sealed bids or quotations before their deadline.
Using the platform to reach people
Harvesting contact details for anything other than the business you are here to do.
Reviews that are not yours to write
Ratings not founded on a transaction that actually completed.
Good to know
Not yet the final terms
Full terms of service are being prepared with the client and its advisers before launch. This page sets out the intended basis and is not a substitute for them.
